Measures to promote employment

By means of the Tripartite Foundation for Employment Training (FTFE), state body which collaborates with the Public Service of State Employment, Canal Gestión Lanzarote received in 2017 a supplement of 22.506,80 Euros, which marked the highest maximum quantity supplemented to Canal Gestión Lanzarote in that year.

The training actions presented are considered training in demand, meaning that Canal Gestión Lanzarote organised them in order to respond to the training necessities of the company and its employees.

Some of the training acts included, were with an online, on-site and mixed methodology, always within the conditions outlined by the FTFE, amongst which the following are considered:

  • Duration of the course equal or more than 6 hours
  • Duration of each day equal or less than 8 hours
  • Conferences, fairs, symposiums, congresses, lectures, forums, encounters and workshops were not permitted
  • Documentation has to be kept for a minimum period of 4 years
  • It is necessary to notify by means of the FTFE website at least 7 days prior to commencing a training act
  • For changes in time, place and dates of delivery must be notified 4 calendar days before the start of the group and communicate the new dates with at least 7 calendar days.
  • It is compulsory for a minimum of 75% of the programme to participate
  • In order to benefit from supplements on behalf of the FTFE, at least 40% of the costs of the training acts are to be financed by the company.
  • In supplemented training acts, a priority group participation of 63,55% or more must have been achieved.
