Infrastructure belonging to the purifying/filtration and reuse system of Lanzarote and La Graciosa

When residual waters arrive at the filtration and purification stations, they are subjected to a series of interlinked physical and biological treatments which allow the elimination of present contamination (such as solid remains, sand, floating elements and organic contamination) and leave it in suitable and legally required conditions to be returned to the sea.

Canal Gestión Lanzarote currently manages eight purification/filtration stations spread out across the entire insular geography, resulting in a total annual volume of 8, 17hm³ of filtrated and purified water.
