Infrastructure related to the potable water distribution for the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa

The distribution system of potable water in Lanzarote and La Graciosa is established in 1875 kilometres of pipeline which as a whole, constitute a vital resource for the supply infrastructure, so that this network remains one of the main priorities for the company which continuously maintains renovation and improvement programmes of these conducts with the objective of guaranteeing an optimal water supply.

The different water consumptions between the localities of both islands present variations during the seasons of the year, days of the week, and also during the hours of the day. In order to adjust the supply to the necessities of our customers and guarantee the adequate water pressure, we have 62 regulating tanks; as well as having other pump stations which receive the potable water in their corresponding tanks and raise it to levels sufficiently high enough to proceed with the water supply and appropriate pressure in the highest areas on the island of Lanzarote.
